Churches FAQ

How churches partner with FreedomPlace to verify needs, earn commissions, and strengthen their community impact.

What does a partner church do?

Partner churches receive verification requests for needs posted in their geographic area. Two churches must verify each need before it becomes active. Churches confirm the need is genuine and the person is who they say they are.

How does a church earn?

Churches earn commissions on every transaction they verify through the HELPS platform. This creates a sustainable income stream that does not require fundraising campaigns.

Does a church need to be a 501(c)(3)?

Recognized ministries and faith organizations may qualify even without formal 501(c)(3) status. Contact us at [email protected] for eligibility review.

What if a church rejects a need?

Any rejection flags the need for admin review. A need requires two church approvals to become active. One rejection does not automatically cancel a need — it triggers a second review layer.
