How Does Big Tech View FreedomPlace?

Big Tech built platforms that extract value from users. FreedomPlace distributes it back. That is the fundamental tension.

The Big Tech Model

Big Tech platforms — search engines, social networks, e-commerce giants — earn by selling your attention and your data to advertisers. You generate the value. They capture it. You get nothing.

Why FreedomPlace Threatens That Model

FreedomPlace routes commerce through a peer network instead of a centralized platform. When members buy through FreedomPlace instead of Amazon or Google Shopping, that revenue stays in the network and distributes to real people — not to shareholders.

Social Sharing Limitations

FreedomPlace intentionally limits social media integration at launch. The strategy is text and email sharing first — building a geography of trust before national expansion. Social icons are shown but not active for posting until the national rollout.

Our Position

We are not anti-technology. We are pro-people. FreedomPlace uses technology to redistribute the economic value of commerce back to the communities that create it. Big Tech's reaction to that will be its own answer to your question.
